Assumptions
The assumptions that apply to all participants integrating with the MOBI.Hub platform.
The following assumptions apply to all participants integrating with the MOBI.Hub platform:
- MOBI.Hub adopts OCPI 2.2.1 as the reference protocol version, while maintaining backward compatibility with OCPI 2.2.
- CPOs and EMSPs may implement only the OCPI modules required for their specific business and operational needs, provided that interoperability requirements are preserved.
- The implementation of charging station communication protocols, such as OCPP, remains the responsibility of each CPO and is outside the scope of this specification.
- Relationships between CPOs and EMSPs are configured and managed directly within the MOBI.Hub platform. Information is exchanged only between entities with an active relationship.
- The MOBI.Hub platform supports both passive hub operation and centralized authentication services, including real-time authorization and whitelist-based authorization mechanisms.
- All endpoints supporting large datasets should implement pagination mechanisms according to the OCPI specification.
- Authentication credentials exchanged through the
Credentialsmodule shall be used to identify and authorize communications between participants. - The use of physical RFID cards, mobile applications, Plug & Charge certificates or any other identification mechanism is supported, provided that the selected authentication method complies with the OCPI specification.
- CDRs are normally generated by the CPO and exchanged through standard OCPI mechanisms. Exceptionally, Mobi.e may generate additional records associated with campaigns or value-added services offered through the platform.
- Additional Mobi.e services, such as campaign management and relationship management between CPOs and EMSPs, are implemented outside the scope of the OCPI protocol and are documented separately.
- Future versions of the platform may introduce support for new OCPI releases, including OCPI 2.3 and OCPI 3.0, as well as emerging technologies such as Plug & Charge and ISO 15118.
