Plug & Charge enables automatic authentication and authorization between electric vehicles and charging stations, removing the need for RFID cards, mobile applications or manual identification mechanisms.

The future evolution of the Mobi.e interoperability platform may include support for Plug & Charge scenarios, allowing:

• certificate-based authentication;
